The Visionary Behind the Brand...
Meghan McNamara Mundy (often called Meg Mundy) is a fashion entrepreneur, stylist, and community leader best known for creating and leading one of upstate New York’s most visible fashion events. A native of New Jersey and a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, she began her fashion career working in New York City’s garment district with European designers and coordinating high-end trunk shows before relocating to Rochester nearly 30 years ago.

Driven by a desire to elevate Rochester’s fashion profile and build community around creative expression, Mundy founded Fashion Week Rochester in 2010, launching it as a multi-day event to showcase local designers, boutiques, artists, and models — and to raise awareness and support for youth experiencing homelessness. As the chief fashion organizer, she has been the leading visionary behind the event’s growth into a regional cultural highlight that combines runway shows with philanthropy and local economic engagement.

After more than 15 years spearheading Fashion Week Rochester, Mundy embarked on the next chapter of her career with the launch of Meg Mundy Style LLC in 2025. This new company focuses on boutique runway experiences, designer trunk shows, youth-focused programming such as Fashion Camp 585, and other fashion-centric initiatives that reflect her deep industry experience and ongoing commitment to community building through style and creativity.

Through both her work with Fashion Week Rochester and Meg Mundy Style LLC, Mundy continues to champion inclusive fashion, creative entrepreneurship, and opportunities for emerging talent in the Rochester region and beyond. After raising millions of dollars for the Center for Youth, Meg has expanded her philanthropic mission by connecting each show to a different charitable cause, sharing the impact with a wide range of organizations throughout the Rochester community.
